SAFE SPACE FORUM REGULATOR

Closing date: 17 June 2018

We're looking for two people to maintain and regulate our online safe space forum. You'll need to be able to access the forum at least once a week, keep up conversations and encourage members to post and socialise, and be able to respond swiftly and professionally to online misconduct. 

 

Role responsibilities:

 - To access the online safe space forum and read through new posts on a weekly basis

 - To write posts and replies, and encourage conversation and socialising across the forum

 - To monitor for online misconduct and communicate this to the team in a timely and professional manner

Criteria

 - Must be over 18

 - Must be able to access the forum at least once a week

 - Personal experience of being LGBT+ and/or sound knowledge of some issues that LGBT+ people face

 - A professional writing manner, and a friendly online personality 

 - An exceptional understanding and practice of working confidentially and with sensitive information

BLOG COPYWRITER, POSITIVE VIBES ONLY 

Closing date: 17 June 2018

We're looking for three people to write regular creative pieces for our Positive Vibes Only blog. These pieces will focus on what True To Me. does, and report on contemporary LGBT+ topics in positive and thoughtful ways.  

Role responsibilities:

 - To keep up to date with current and/or engaging LGBT+ news and matters 

 - To communicate and co-ordinate with us, and the other copy writers, on a fortnightly basis 

 - To upload at least one blog piece every month, and ensure the team uploads a piece every fortnight

Criteria

 - Must be over 18

 - Must be able to commit at least 2 hours every fortnight to researching, writing, and communicating with the team

 - Good attention to detail, competent literacy skills, and an engaging writing style

 - An understanding of how to balance a positive tone with covering thought-provoking topics

 - An exceptional understanding and practice of working with confidential and sensitive information

SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

We're looking for one person to help manage our Facebook page, Instagram account, and Twitter page. This will include promoting what we do, inspiring self-love and positivity, and sharing news about contemporary LGBT+ topics.

Role responsibilities:

 - To keep up to date with current and/or engaging LGBT+ news and matters 

 - To be a social media whizz, and interact with our three social media platforms at least once a week

 - To communicate with the team regularly, and keep us updated with new happenings

Criteria

 - Must be over 18

 - Must have sound knowledge of how Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter work

 - Good attention to detail, competent literacy skills, and an engaging writing style

 - An understanding of how to balance a positive tone with covering thought-provoking topics

 - Must have access to all three social media platforms daily, and must actively access these weekly

 - An exceptional understanding and practice of working with confidential and sensitive information
